Terms & Conditions

A booking fee/deposit of $25 per service booked is required to secure your appointment. This deposit can be paid via paypal when you place your booking online. Example:
- When you book in two services such as: Soft gel extensions & advanced nail art your deposit will be 2x$25=$50
- Whereas if you book in only one service such as: Soft gel extensions your deposit will be 1x$25=$25
This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, this goes towards the total cost of your service on the day of the appointment.
If you cancel your booking with plenty of time, your deposit will remain as credit towards your name, and you will have 12 months to redeem it by booking a new appointment at Lunaeia. After 12 months, it will be forfeited.
Failure to book a complete appointment will result in your booking being cancelled, and will incur a $5 admin fee taken from your deposit . The rest will be refunded.
Example:
- Booking “step 2: nail art” without a “step 1: base service”

Lunaeia sends a reminder email and confirmation SMS message 2 days prior to the appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to reply with a Y to confirm that they are coming or reschedule right away, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation.
If the client submits incorrect contact information (email, phone number), it it the client’s responsibility to contact Lunaeia as soon as possible.
Lunaeia is not responsible for any lost emails and SMS confirmation texts.
Do not be afraid to speak up during your appointment. With the exception of omakase, you must let me know throughout the appointment if there is anything you are not 100% happy with.

48hr cancellation notice. If notice is given within the 48hrs, your deposit will be forfeited.
If notice is over 48hrs from your appointment, your deposit will be carried over to your rescheduled appointment.
- If you wish to hold your deposit for a later date, you are allowed to do so only up to 12 months from the initial date that you paid the deposit. After 12 months, the deposit will be void.

The booking fee will be forfeited during the first offence and client will be given a warning.
Second offence will result in the client owing the full cost of the base service that they did not show up for in order to book again.
Failure to pay will result in being blacklisted from Lunaeia.

Lunaeia urges the client to arrive on the time of their appointment; not early, not late. Please just wait in your car and you may make your way down to the second gate 1-2 mins before your appointment time. If I am still with a client you may sit at the glass garden table to wait for you turn.
Upon arrival, please SMS or send an Instagram DM to let Justine know that you have arrived, and enter the premises by walking down the driveway to the second gate. Do not knock on the front door as the studio is not at the main house, it is in a granny flat.
If you are 10 minutes late to your appointment Lunaeia will charge a $10 late fee taken from your deposit.
If you are over 20 minutes late $25 of your credit will be forfeited and your appointment will be modified (for example: no extensions), or simply marked as a no show in order to not push back the next client’s appointment.

Service durations are specified in the booking page. Nail art tiers only have rough estimates and duration may vary depending on nail art requested. For example: 4 nails with advanced nail art will take less time to complete than 10 nails with advanced nail art.
Expect up to 4-5hrs for extensions with complex nail art. If you wish to split this into two sessions (2x 3 hr sessions, or one hand each session) you may send an email for a quick consultation with Justine.

I prefer that you come to Lunaeia with bare nails on your first visit. However, if you are planning to arrive wearing a set done by another nail tech, please book in removal. If you are unsure of what is on your nails, just book it under acrylic/SNS removal.
Failure to book removal will result in service being modified or marked as a no show in order to not push back the next client’s appointment.

No backseat styling. Omakase means “I will leave it up to you” in Japanese. Hence, by booking omakase nail art, you choose to put your trust in Justine to decide what nail art she will do.
If you choose to backseat style, you will have to pay for the appropriate nail art tier
If there are any charms desired, you will have to pay for the wanted charm/s in addition to omakase pricing.
Keep your hands on the wrist rest at all times, as wiping away fluff will interfere with the time limit provided and you may get a lesser value than what is expected.

If there is any breakage or lifting of the nail within 7 days of getting them done at Lunaeia, you are entitled to a free repair at the next available time slot.
Loss of charms or detachable elements (for example: magnetic charm attachments) is not included in this benefit.
Repairs after 7 days will be charged at full price. Anything after 2 weeks will have to be removed or done as a new set.

By paying at the end of your appointment you are agreeing that you are happy with your nails. As it is a service done with our time, we don’t offer refunds, so you must be happy with them before leaving.

As much as we welcome everyone in Lunaeia, children are the only exception and are not welcome in the studio. The products and equipment used at the studio are very expensive and can be dangerous if not handled by a professional.
If you are under 18 and require getting your nails done for any reason (such as school formal) we advise that your parent or caregiver accompany you, drop you off, or write a signed letter giving me permission to do your nails
